We could have easily spent an entire day on the boardwalk. In fact, we went back a few days later for jet skiing. There are shops, restaurants, water activities, ziplining, and so much more. Though we won’t have our typical sword fights and water gun battles, the entire family can enjoy an evening filled with awe and wonder. Our onboard bar is open, so feel free to indulge in a grog or two as you take in the spectacle. The captain was very informative and quite humorous.

If you’re not keen to plundering and swabbing the decks, our galley mates serve grog to those pirates 21 and up. Simply kick back, relax, take in the scenery, and watch your lads and lasses have the time of their lives. Our family of three enjoyed the cruise, Destin is beautiful when your on the boat you get to really see it’s water. We did see a couple dolphins and fed some of the birds. They have refreshments on board if you’d like to drink and captain hats that my son fell in love with. At the end they gave my son a small treasure.

This is a dolphin tour you don’t want to miss. For example, there isn’t really a benefit to arriving early. I mean, you have the peace of mind that you aren’t going to miss the experience or get lost, but that’s about it. The instructions you receive after booking your experience say to arrive 90 minutes early, which is nuts if you ask me! Parking can be a bit squirrely, but 45 minutes early was plenty for us. Once you check in you are instructed to stand in line at the gate of the ship on the dock.

She loves dolphins, so I was really hoping we would actually see some. Jason was really fun and made it interesting. The water was a bit choppy, but that was fun too. Destin Pirate Cruise
My brother used Uber (he didn’t have a car since his family flew to Florida) and it was $6 from our condo each way, which is cheaper and less of a headache than parking. Our Cruise typically takes around 1hr and 45 minutes, but the total time may vary between 1.5 hrs – 2hrs depending on the number of children on board. Since you are able to move around freely aboard the ship during the cruise there is no need to be the “first one on” to get a good seat. If we were to go again we would wait in the shade until it was time to board.
